Factory 93’s MODULE is a new mini-compilation series that was introduced earlier this year. The inaugural EP has contributions from Octopus Recordings regulars Loco & Jam through to LA-based artist DRAKK, shining a spotlight on a variety of up-and-coming talents and emerging names to take note of.
‘MODULE 2‘ closes off 2022 with more techno music from across the board, welcoming international acts including Ramiro Lopez from Spain, HNTR from Canada, Madeaux & Zeplin from the US, and Matt Saviolo from Italy.
First up is Ramiro Lopez’s “Easy Easy,” a dreamy groover with evolving, intricate soundscapes and psychedelic vocals that sway and shift over the beat.
With the deep, melodious “Oh Please,” HNTR follows up his Juno Award-winning “Underground Dance Single Of The Year,” which featured spacey vocals and catchy modulated synth riffs for an upbeat composition.
‘Luna Rossa,’ a dark and aggressive track with foreboding intensity and nu-wave undertones, is the next track to include Madeaux and Zeplin. Mattia Saviolo then concludes the night with the exquisitely produced ‘Riding Waves,’ an early favorite of Kas:having st’s appeared in their Cercle set earlier this year.
