The American house music producer Bexxie is back on Insomniac’s sister label IN / ROTATION with her second song, “Gotta Be Real,” which came out June 11th.

In “Gotta Be Real,” she pays tribute to her roots by sampling the famous track “Injected With A Poison” by Praga Khan. She describes this record as a key piece of music from her early days as a dancefloor reveler.

There are old-school rave stabs, diva-style vocal hooks, disco-calling vox samples, and a well-done breakbeat breakdown in the song.

The song comes after her last hit, “Got Me,” which got support from Fedde Le Grand, dEVOLVE, and Tomo Hirata.

Bexxie talked about how she felt about making the song and releasing it. She said:

I’m excited to be releasing with IN / ROTATION again! “Gotta Be Real” was made because I wanted to make a song that mixed modern house music with sounds from my rave days in the 1990s. It always gets people moving when I play this song in my sets!!!!

American artist Bexxie is making waves in house music with her love of rave culture from the 1990s and classic grooves. She is based on the East Coast.

1001TrackLists called her the “Future of Dance.”

She has played directly support for Above & Beyond, Chromeo, Dombresky, and Andrew Bayer, and she joined Seven Lions on his “Journey III” Tour for 23 stops.

Bexxie’s song “Gotta Be Real” takes you back to the good old days of rave by mixing classic tech house and disco themes with modern music.

This song makes her stand out as an artist to watch.

You can get Bexxie’s new song “Gotta Be Real” on all digital music stores through IN/ROTATION Records.
