MarMar’s upcoming single, “You,” which he says below was written in the middle of a forest on a sunny afternoon and perfectly depicts the tranquility he was feeling at that very moment, will be available to us in August.
MarMar is a French-born American producer who creates atmospheric/indie-dance music with a style that has been compared to a mashup of Duskus, Odesza, and Tourist.
Mario Pedron has been hard at work on a brand-new batch of songs since settling into his new home in a little town named Hem in the north of France. He feels that these songs are a true representation of the MarMar project’s direction.
Mario has recently released three outstanding new tracks, Phoenix, Told You, and At The End, all of which have gotten awe-inspiring amounts of attention from music lovers and curators around the world. He is thrilled to be collaborating with Mammal Sounds Records on his upcoming album.
“You” is a track I started in the middle of the forest one sunny afternoon. I was building a granular sample into some chords on my laptop, just sitting on the floor in the woods. The idea for the track took shape around the peace I was feeling and hearing in that moment, and the vocals I found ended up really trying everything together into what the track is now. – MarMar
