Renowned French DJ and producer DJ Snake found himself at the center of controversy following his recent performance at the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas. The “Turn Down for What” hitmaker, known for his electrifying stage presence and chart-topping hits, took aim at one of the most prestigious electronic dance music festivals in the world, Tomorrowland.

Surprisingly, DJ Snake directly attacked Tomorrowland, one of the most famous festivals in the business, by saying, “Fuck Tomorrowland.”

It’s fine to say you like one event over another, but DJ Snake’s rude words and lack of interest in Tomorrowland, a festival known for its high-quality production and global appeal, has no sense.

What the producer said didn’t end there. Once DJ Snake was done with his EDC set, he went on social media to say again, “EDC VEGAS > TOMORROWLAND.

People in the music business work together, be creative and value each other. DJ Snake’s behavior is not professional enough for an artist of his caliber.

Artists, especially those who have fans all over the world, need to know how much their words and deeds matter. Even though everyone has their own tastes, voicing them in a rude and insulting way makes the person and the business as a whole look bad.

What made DJ Snake’s comments even more perplexing was the fact that they appeared to be entirely unprovoked. There was no apparent catalyst or reason for the French DJ to lash out at Tomorrowland, a festival he has performed at multiple times in the past.

So why did DJ Snake push against Tomorrowland so hard? Some speculated that perhaps DJ Snake’s comments were fueled by a personal grievance or behind-the-scenes disagreement with the Tomorrowland organizers (he’s not on the lineup). However, in the absence of any concrete evidence, these theories remained mere speculation.

It seemed like the only reason he said those mean things was to hurt the image of Tomorrowland, a festival that has long been praised for giving music fans around the world unforgettable experiences.

DJ Snake’s unprovoked attack on such a prestigious event showed not only a lack of professionalism but also a lack of respect for the hard work and dedication of Tomorrowland organizers, performers, and the many other people who help make the festival a success every year.
