The EP starts with “Chronic,” a song they worked on together with KAS:ST. The record combines tough, industrial-sounding layers with a more emotional core. The light and dark parts work together to make an entrancing effect that lives up to its title. It’s without a doubt the EP’s best track.
Finally, the solo “Poison” ends the EP on a soothing note with its heartfelt singing, sad chords, and strong, stabbing synth lines. It’s a great short summary of Adam Sellouk’s signature sound, which is emotional melodic techno with grit and intensity.
