Following the high acclaimed debut album on Tale Of Us’s imprint Afterlife, Adriatique are back with ‘X EP’. Featuring three amazing tunes, the EP is the 10th release on Siamese as well as it celebrates 10 years of Adriatique. The Swiss-duo fuses once again slick downtempo electronica with powerful basslines, to create emotive and adventurous techno.
The three-tracker unfolds potently with Craft, a dark, stomping Techno tune with an electrifying bassline and vast synth arpeggios in pure Adriatique style. Following is X, which definitely brings a mood change with its’ delicate notes, while the elegant atmos and the clarion cymbals create an experience that flows glib until the finale, committed to a beatless synths solo.
The third and final track is Love Modules: the closing composition relies on a thorough selection of vocal chops and mesmerizing synths – a firm point of this EP – to shape an emotional and driving piece of Melodic House.
Once again, Adriatique have managed to shape a complex, elegant, and shaking musical experience, proving once more their natural chemistry in the production process. We can’t wait for more blissful creations from the two Adrian’s.
