While Stephan Bodzin‘s highly-acclaimed third studio album ‘Boavista‘ still reverberates around the world, the techno mainstay has now collected 25 of the scene’s most interesting artists to add their own remixes. Solomun, Roman Flügel, ANNA, Anfisa Letyago, and Adriatique are among the many artists on the bill.
This is a collection brimming with gems from the start: Diynamic label boss Solomun opens up with his lively melodic take on Rose featuring cosmic synths and neon pads, his label mates Adriatique then go deep with their take on River and Italian duo Mind Against layer up the astral synths to epic effect with their Earth remix.
Jupiter Jazz, aka Maceo Plex and AVNU, then team up for a swirling synth-filled remix of Theory Of Everything, while German maestro Roman Flügel transforms Earth into a cinematic track with pensive pads and digitalized leads. There is also classy progressive house from Patrice Bäumel, widescreen techno from ANNA and hard, acid-tinged techno from Reinier Zonneveld as well as suppler rolling rhythms from Dubfire with many other standout remixes in between.
