It’s the end of this incredible 2022 and Toolroom is summing things up with Best Of Toolroom 2022, after a year in which the label went back to its club roots. In the last few weeks, Mark Knight‘s own imprint has also welcomed new artists and released some solid remixes as well.
Toolroom drop their annual Best Of Album for 2022
As the year draws to a close, Toolroom releases their official collection, “Best of Toolroom 2022,” which features 40 of their most popular songs from the previous 12 months. Expect a playlist that will get any party started in a year where the label returned to its club origins.
One of our esteemed family members, Martin Ikin, WEISS, Dombresky, ESSEL, Friend Within, CHANEY, and label boss Mark Knight, have produced an album that is jam-packed from top to bottom with certified club weapons and blockbuster smashes. Along with the daytime blockbuster song “KC Lights (feat. Leo Stannard) – Daydreamer,” which reached #1 on Beatport, Toolroom also welcomed new artists to the label, including Crusy, Majestic, HUGEL, Saison, and dance music superstar Armand Van Helden.
Eddie Thoneick makes his Toolroom debut with ‘Take It Back‘
Toolroom is stepping up their game with one more installment of Tech House heat to conclude 2022 on a high note as 2023 is just around the corner. Introducing famous German selector Eddie Thoneick, whose club-focused large room weapon “Take It Back” makes its label premiere.
Returning to the dance floor, Eddie Thoneick has established a reputation for producing high-caliber remixes by working with artists like Armand Van Helden, Steve Angello, Bob Sinclar, and David Guetta. Axtone Records, Spinnin’ Records, Subliminal, and currently Toolroom are just a few of the labels on which he has released music. As a DJ, he has shared the stage with artists like Tom Starr, Kurd Maverick, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, among others.
With regard to the song itself, Eddie Thoneick’s hefty production technique on “Take It Back” stands out. delivering a raw, Tech House track with resonant bass lines, metallic percussion, and a hook that will raise a stir in any venue it is performed in. Toolroom wrap up 2022 with CASSIMM remixing ‘Waterfall‘ By Atlantic Ocean Feature
The last release of 2022 from Toolroom is out now, and what a way to cap off a fantastic year for the label. The king of 90s dance music, Atlantic Ocean’s “Waterfall,” is now in the hands of Italy’s best export, CASSIMM, Beatport’s #1 selling artist and an all-around fantastic producer.
A song that was initially released in 1993 and reached the top 20 in the UK charts, as well as positions #3 in The Netherlands and #9 in Ireland, among other countries, solidifying its place as a timeless dance classic!
After 30 years, this cult classic has been updated for today’s dance floors by being toughened up, reworked, and redesigned. The original is treated with great respect by CASSIMM, who adds all of its essential, euphoric components over a modernized chunky House beat. It’s safe to say that this will serve as the music and the euphoric moments for New Year’s Eve parties as we celebrate the end of another fantastic year at Toolroom HQ.
