After a series of legendary festivals and events in North America, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) will be back in Europe for the 2021 summer, this time in Portugal at Praia de Rocha on June 18, 19, and 20.
Things seem to get interesting in Europe in 2021 once it comes to music festivals. We have already reported the announcement of the 2021 edition of Don’t Let Daddy Know in Amsterdam and now, it’s time for another big announcement. Next year, one of the biggest festival organizers in the world, Insomniac, will be back with the flagship festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, bringing the electric sky in Portugal, more previously at Praia de Rocha.
A relatively undiscovered sandy paradise overlooking the Atlantic ocean, Praia de Rocha is located in Portugal’s Algarve region. The area is historically one of the most sought after holiday destinations in Europe and it is quickly becoming the place to experience the world’s biggest music festivals. It is less than an hour’s drive from the region’s main transport hub – Faro airport, near the idyllic town of Portimão.
Planned for June 18, 19, and 20, EDC Europe 2021 is one of the first festival announced for the next summer season. The lineup and ticket prices are still to be announced but Electric Daisy Carnival has already revealed that there will be 5 stages and over 140 artists performing during the 3 days.
