Dutch legend Joris Voorn celebrates his upcoming album \ with a stunning brand new single Messiahft. Haelos.
\ [four] is the brand new studio album by Joris Voorn, coming this 15th of November; to celebrate the announcement, Joris has presented his new single, out today on his own Spectrum. Messiah is a collaboration with London electronic quartet HÆLOS whose cross-genre output spans from trip-hop to shoegaze. The track sees Joris blend a 90s inspired breakbeat and rave aesthetic with synth arpeggios atop ethereal vocals from HÆLOS front-woman Lotti Benardout.
The release is an interdimensional journey through space and time thanks to the incredible melodic layer perfectly merged with HÆLOS stunning vocal. A rolling percussive rhythm finally collides at the center of the tune creating one of the freshest tune of this year.
Messiah is part of Joris’ upcoming fourth album. \ will contain 14 records including the already beloved Ryo, Antigone, and Dark. Set to release this November on his own imprint Spectrum, we are sure to hear a world premiere of the full album at Joris Voorn all night long party in Amsterdam next month. For the annual ADE, Joris and Spectrum will host a party for Audio Obscura at Muziekgebouw.
