Stranger Than announces LA’s only large-scale Beach Party

Featuring Âme b2b Dixon, Jimi Jules b2b Trikk, and Tony Y Not at Cabrillo Beach in Los Angeles; March 25th, 2023, 2pm-10pm

One of LA’s only large-scale electronic music festivals to be held on the beach has been announced by the Los Angeles-based event organization Stranger Than as Stranger Than; Beach Party. Held at historic Cabrillo Beach on March 25th, the revolutionary event will feature a special b2b performance from Innervisions label heads Âme and Dixon, alongside some of house and techno’s most respected selectors.

Both known as visionaries of modern techno in their own rights, Dixon and Âme will grace the decks for one of their rare and coveted b2b sets. The founders of the Berlin-based Innervisions label, fans of eclectic techno, and defenders of the avant-garde continue to be some of the most revered figures in the electronic world.

Exemplifying forward-thinking sonic curation, Jimi Jules, whose groundbreaking ‘My City’s On Fire’ release off his Innervisions album ‘+’ became the anthem of the past year, will go b2b with mysterious rising underground star Trikk. The group is completed by DJ and producer Tony y Not, a German-born resident of Brooklyn.

The sandy shores of Cabrillo Beach provide a beautiful setting for the ground-breaking musical display, making it a never-before-used location. Stranger Than; Beach Party will offer electronic music fans unobstructed views of the coast and an unparalleled, day-into-night oceanfront experience as the sun dips behind the Pacific Ocean.

The Stranger Than; Beach Party exhibits Stranger Than’s talent for introducing new venues for its renowned events, regularly revealing new depths for the neighborhood dance scene, and acting as revolutionaries in the area. Led by founder Tal Ohana, Stranger Than; has remained a key force in the US electronic music scene, having introduced unique urban venues such as Grand Park on the steps of City Hall, El Pueblo in front of Union Station, and Ace Mission Studios at the foot of DTLA’s 4th street bridge. Both coasts now recognize Stranger Than as a dominant force, consistently presenting important events for international organizations like CircoLoco and, most recently, the renowned Burning Man soundcamp Mayan Warrior, whose US tour saw Stranger Than draw tens of thousands of people across the nation.

On January 25 at noon PST, tickets for Stranger Than; Beach Party will be on sale.
