Hotly tipped, Milan-born producer SOEL now returns to the esteemed British imprint for his eagerly-awaited first release of 2023, with Shadows That We Cast EP. After the critically acclaimed release of his two-part Ghasia EP on Bedrock back in 2021 — a record that enjoyed hefty support from John Digweed across his gigs in Mexico and South America that same year — hotly-tipped, Milan-born producer SOEL now returns to the imprint for his eager

Beginning the two-part EP with the rousing title track Shadows That We Cast, SOEL—who has also released music on labels like Afterlife, Siamese, Plangent, and Oddity—makes his intentions clear right away. SOEL provides a particularly dynamic offering, piqued by piercing synths, undulating kicks, and trippy, mind-altering samples.

Next, the New York City-based producer presents Running On The Moon, a more melodic follow-up to the tense opening track. Harmonic synths and deftly processed vocal drops serve as the foundation for this delicate, multi-textured track.

As a lifelong travel, fashion, and art aficionado, SOEL’s musical development, encounters with many cultures, and individualism naturally translates into his music. He started writing music in his teenage years, and within a year, some of the biggest DJs in the world, including Solomun, Hernan Cattáneo, John Digweed, Tale of Us, Carl Cox, Dixon, Adriatique, Chris Liebing, Stephan Bodzin, Rodhad, and others, supported and played his productions in their seasonal shows. .

Over the course of the last ten years, SOEL has honed his own style, which combines atmospheric techno with dark synths, ominous drones, and biting percussion. His music’s dynamism permeates each of his sets with ease, enthralling crowds along the way with a remarkable sense of progression and vigor. 2020 saw the launch of SOEL’s own electronic record label, ORACOLO Records, which specializes in atmospheric dark techno and cinematic ambiance.
