The much-anticipated Tale Of Us concert scheduled for tonight at Red Rocks Amphitheater has been canceled due to heavy snowfall. The popular electronic music duo broke the news through an Instagram story, citing safety concerns for patrons and staff.

Tale Of Us Forced to Cancel Show at Red Rocks Amphitheater due to Heavy Snowfall

“With snow currently sticking to the pavement at Red Rocks and with a winter weather advisory and 6-14 inches of expected snow, for patron safety, tonight’s Tale Of Us concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre is postponed,” they announced.

AEG representatives also emphasized that Tale Of Us were eager to go ahead with the show, but the challenging conditions and the extremely steep roads leading to the stage made it unsafe for everyone involved. Safety is, understandably, the top priority in such situations.

All ticket holders need not worry, as their tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. Additionally, refunds are available at the point of purchase for those who are unable to attend the rescheduled event.

U.S. National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning at Red Rocks Amphitheater

As the cancellation comes as a disappointment for electronic music enthusiasts, the weather conditions in the Denver/Boulder area are indeed quite severe. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for various areas, including The Northern Front Range Foothills, The Southern Front Range Foothills, Boulder, and the western suburbs of Denver. The warning is in effect until noon MDT on Sunday and predicts heavy snow with additional accumulations between 4 and 10 inches.

This warning underscores the challenges posed by the snowfall, with travel becoming increasingly difficult due to heavy snow on roadways. The advisory encourages people to consider delaying travel during the heaviest snowfall periods and, if necessary, to drive with extreme caution. To be well-prepared, it is advisable to carry a winter storm kit with items such as tire chains, booster cables, a flashlight, a shovel, blankets, extra clothing, water, and a first-aid kit. These precautions can be lifesavers if stranded in harsh winter conditions.

Madeon’s Performance Remains Unaffected Despite Winter Storm Warning

Just a few minutes ago Madeon announced the cancelation of his show as well for the same reason. He stated that it was the city’s unilateral decision. The show is rescheduled for the 9th of November.

In contrast to the Tale Of Us cancellation, the electronic music artist Madeon is set to perform at the same venue tomorrow, and he has confirmed on Twitter that his show will proceed as planned. Concertgoers can rest assured that despite the adverse weather conditions, the Madeon show is still on schedule.
