German-based DJ and producer N3MO lands on Patent Skillz with a 3-track EP called The Gate, including two remixes by Dj Lion and Tim Taste.
Kicking off with the EP title track, The Gate introduces hypnotic and wobbling vibes packed with acid-driven harmonies and a hypnotic vocal. The percussions slow down on the breakdown, letting the listener recharge for a heavy techno second drop. Dj Lion injects new fast and rolling rhythms, increasing the BPM of the track, cleaning up the drop. He also adds raw and industrial sound, bringing the record to be a true festival main stage anthem.
The second real tune of the EP, Portals, introduces dreamy and kind of romantic melodies, paired with a non-stop beat and infected percussions. The record goes deep and dark on the breakdown, amassing energy released on the second drop. The tune included peak-time moments as well as reflective instances for a complete musical experience. Tim Taste jumps on the remix of the tune as well. He slows down the record, adding a cleaner plucked theme and minimal beats. The electrified synth harmonies complete the experience.
