Sintra, a 26-year-old Nashville-based artist, has established himself as a must-see in the electronic music scene. Dennis Mongan aka Sintra launched his artist project after developing an interest in electronic music and began experimenting, drawing inspiration from a variety of sources and distilling his own bold bass-heavy style. Sintra’s music straddles the line between driving basslines, lush vocals, and crisp, imaginative production.
The Sintra project has begun in 2021, and it has gotten off to an incredible start thanks to the support of people like Dr. Fresch. Sintra has established a reputation for notable remixes, such as SIDEPIECE’s “Acrobatic.” Sintra has quickly established himself as one of the most unique emerging dance music artists in Nashville and is beginning to turn some heads across the country, having shared the stage with the likes of Dr. Fresch and upcoming shows with Steve Aoki & Bijou. His new single “Heat” is now available, and it’s a dark and gritty original with a slightly different vibe than his previous releases.
Kicking off with a dark and mysterious beat, paired with an enigmatic bassline, the track rapidly increases its energy with a non-stop beat. The deep vocal loop introduces the raw and industrial beat perfect to turn the dancefloor upside down.
I wanted to create something different and had been really inspired by a lot of the music I was hearing in the mid tempo space. I put my own twist on the style and am really happy with how it came out. I love making different genres and experimenting. “Sintra” was never meant to fit in a specific genre.
