German division of DJ Mag is sure that Swedish House Mafia – SHM – will reunite at Ultra Music Festival Miami during this 20th edition.
Every year in the period that precedes Ultra Music Festival, rumors about a theoric Swedish House Mafia reunion rise literally everywhere. The Groove Cartel has decided not to spread any kind of speculation without receiving any confirmation from reliable sources; we only reported facts – last year, for example, we reported the announcement given by Proximity; a few days ago, we told you about the new SHM playlist published by Spotify.
Today, DJ Mag Germany has published an article in which they confirm that Swedish House Mafia – SHM – will actually perform at UMF.
They also point out that they will perform a 60-mins set at Bayfront Park, Miami (UMF Mainstage) on Monday 26th, at 4 AM CET (local 10 PM on Sunday 25th). To clear any doubt, they also wrote that the trio will be formed by the original members, Axwell, Ingrosso, and Angello.
The reason behind this show is the 20th anniversary of Ultra: the three Swedes took a great part in building the fame of this festival, also thanks to their Last Show which took place at UMF 2013.
They also confirmed, and we can underwrite, that Sunday will be the only time we’ll be able to see the Swedish House Mafia play as a trio again. There’ll be no reunion tour or new music, just a show to celebrate Ultra’s 20th birthday and bring back the old memories. We don’t know what kind of music they will play, but we suggest you to have a coffee and enjoy this “Reunion Show”, it will be a historical moment for the entire EDM world.
