EXIT Festival 2024 presents its first 24 acts for an incredible edition; let’s deep dive!

The Black Eyed Peas

The Black Eyed Peas, the pop-rap icons, are performing in Serbia for the first time. With an amazing 80 million records sold, they are one of the most popular musical groups of all time! They received 59 of the most prestigious music prizes for their platinum albums, including six Grammys, eight American Music prizes, and two Billboard awards. Creators of timeless R&B, hip hop, and dance anthems like “My Humps” and “Pump It,” as well as chart-topping singles like “I Gotta Feeling” and “Boom Boom Pow,” which secured their place in history as one of the few artists to simultaneously hold the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 list, not to mention recent hits like “Girl Like Me” and “Don’t You Worry” with Shakira, they’ve cemented their status as timeless global stars and are set to electrify the EXIT Festival audience!

Tom Morello

For the first time, the Petrovaradin Fortress will reverberate with the iconic riff of “Killing in the Name,” right from the axe of Tom Morello, Rage Against the Machine’s co-founder and primary songwriter on the majority of their albums! Morello, one of today’s most imaginative guitarists, has worked with a diverse range of artists, including Bruce Springsteen, RZA and GZA of Wu-Tang Clan, The Prodigy, Eddie Vedder, Bring Me the Horizon, and Chris Stapleton.

Morello’s unique musical expression and characteristic use of effects form his own language, integrating rock, rap, and electronic components, showcasing a vast genre diversity through multiple collaborations and innovative playing approaches.

Gucci Mane

Gucci Mane, a vital figure in establishing trap music as a mainstream music genre today, will also perform on the main Tesla Universe Stage. His army of admirers comprises over forty million social media followers, with tens of billions of streams of his songs! His album “Everybody Looking” and single “Black Beatles” topped the Billboard charts, and collaborations with the world’s biggest stars. The collaborations include The Weeknd, Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Selena Gomez, Mariah Carey, Usher, Bruno Mars, and many others, attest to his popularity among his peers.

Carl Cox

You have to play directly from your soul here, be who you are, and that’s what makes EXIT so special!” Carl Cox, widely considered the greatest DJ of all time and the undisputed monarch of the electronic music scene, once said.

He’s returning to mts Dance Arena after a five-year hiatus for a three-hour show! His final concert in 2009 and another performance a decade later remain two of the most unforgettable moments in electronic music history. Next year, on the opening day of the festival, this living legend behind the decks will take the stage in front of what he described as “the most explosive audience” in several interviews about EXIT!

Bonobo

Bonobo, the maestro of merging diverse musical forms and a headliner at the world’s major festivals, is making his debut in Serbia due to public demand. With five Grammy nominations, two of which came this year, he can brag about performing in front of two million people during his “Migration” tour in 2017, and his namesake album topping Billboard’s list of Best Dance Albums.

More artists are set to play at the mts Dance Arena, Tesla Universe Stage and Visa Fusion Stage

On the opening day of the event, mts Dance Arena will also feature British producer and DJ Barry Can’t Swim, while KlangKuenstler will offer the essence of Berlin’s club scene, along with exceptional sets from Sama’ Abdulhadi, Franky Wah, and Mene.

Kenya Grace and Iniko, leaders of a new generation of musicians, will also perform on the Tesla Universe Stage, as will the dynamic Rudimental, known for chart-topping hits “Feel The Love” and “Waiting All Night,” and British pop and soul star John Newman, with his amazing 2+ billion streams.

Tesla Universe will also be energized by The Exploited and Australian visionary Dub FX. Willy William, Ian Asher, and Steve Angello will be performing the best dance hits, with regional star Joker Out adding to the excitement!

The legendary Visa Fusion Stage at EXIT will feature Greek rock band Villagers of Ioannina City and Czech synth-pop outfit Lakeside X. Explosive Stage has generally had a harder sound, with previous headliners including Swiss thrash metal band Coroner and all-female death metal outfit Nemesis.
