Kicking off with Walking Away, a long-time played ID that has made dance people all around the world, the tune features elements of deep and progressive house, blending together minimal and techno-oriented beats and creating a unique sound hanged into a limbo between lo-fi and underground music. The hypnotic vocal of Port St. Willow does the rest of the job bringing the listener into a new dimension inside his soul. Centered around uplifting harmonic elements and a resonant drum pattern, Walking Away strikes that special balance of light and dark that we’re used from Mind Against.
On the B-side, Bloom hits the darkest string of our emotions, delivering a minimal, deep and mysterious feeling, increased by the soft touch of the main piano melody. A melancholy and downtempo interpretation of Mind Against vision with the percussion restraining and sitting deep below atmospheric pads and piano chords, eventually arriving at a gradual and subtle peak.
