Former Volt & State member, Quentyn drops ‘Jerusalem’ on Enroute

Quentyn, former Volt & State member and now the owner of Enroute records, just dropped an insane 2-track EP called ‘Jerusalem’. It contains Jerusalem pt.1 and 2.

Maybe the name Quentyn could sound new but, if we tell you that he’s 1/2 of Volt & State duo, you can’t don’t know him. Two years ago the duo decided to split up and to continue their carrier behind the scene. A year later, Quentin State, a.k.a. Quentyn, started his solo project and founded his own imprint Enroute. Focused on the good old progressive house vibes, Enroute counts now 8 releases.

Jerusalem’ is the last of the series and it contains two versions. The first one is the more progressive one and we’re sure you’re going to love it. Featuring angelic vibes driven by soft piano vibes the track builds up with a huge progressive melody that jumps into a 2015-ish drop. ‘Jerusalem’ pt. 1 brings us back to the EDM golden era and we can not help but love it.

Jerusalem’ part. 2 is the chiller one with a more radio-friendly drop. It features a fast up-and-down bassline filled with hitting percussive rhythms and, again, a wonderful vocal. According to Spotify credits, Demira Jansen is the one behind the incredible vocal.

Such a wonderful release couldn’t go unnoticed. Matisse and Sadko played it during their performance at Protocol ADE as well as on SLAM! Mix Marathon. Radio plays include Nicky Romero, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, and more.

Despite the split-up of  Volt & State, we can still enjoy 10/10 quality releases that follow that patch. Enroute is one of those labels that deserves to be followed. Quentyn ‘Jerusalem’ pt. 1 and 2 are now available worldwide here.
