New project Zen/it launches impressive new single ‘Ashamed’ on Sony

Zen/it Ashamed Sony Music

New project Zen/it (former member of Lush & Simon)  launches an impressive new single ‘Ashamed’ on Sony Music.

If the name Zen/it is new for you, well, it’s because his first single came out only a couple of months ago. First with two back to back releases on Don Diablo HEXAGON and now with a single on Sony,  Zen/it started this new project with the turbo.

Zen/it was born after the split of the electronic duo Lush & Simon; half of it, Lush, started this new Zen/it project. If you’ve missed the previous two releases, we highly suggest to check them out. ‘Reve’ and ‘Hypnosive’ are two pure progressive-electronic bangers that, we’re sure you’ll love.

Talking about his third tune, ‘Ashamed’ is currently out on Sony Music (fun fact, Sony Music has recently signed Swedish House Mafia for their future releases). ‘Ashamed’ captivates listeners with a retro-futuristic soundscape that is dark, seductive, and distinctly slick in its appeal.

“No matter the genre, I want to tell you my story” – Zen/it music is gonna definitely push the boundaries to bring light into his dark and deep universe.

‘Ashamed’ features reverb-laden guitars that provide a sound bed of ambient textures upon retro synth elements. Swelling arpeggios work alongside a growling bass drone to give the track an undoubted electronica feel, supported by live drums that exhibit a rockier edge.

‘Ashamed’ came out after a series of two releases on HEXAGON. For a better music experience, we suggest to listen to the three tracks one after the other; you will surely be lost into a mystical journey with a scaling emotive embrace that is beautifully cosmic!
