On the music side, the masked DJ/producer Claptone is back with a new single including another dazzling remix package, “Beautiful” ft. lau.ra, laced with a wide variety of house remixes from James Hype, Monkey Safari, Murmur Tooth & Lars Moston. All of the remixes are now available on Beatport, with James Hype’s mix also available on Spotify. Different Recordings will release all remixes to all DSPs on May 6th.

For me, the original record felt like a summer day vibe, with Lau.ra’s floaty vocal. So for my remix I wanted to make a night time version, bringing the pace and energy up for the dance floor, adding in some more aggressive sounds and my heavy beat for good measure.
