Austin based producer Gastel presents Rene, the first single from his upcoming EP.
Gastel has set out on a mission to bridge the gap between industrial techno and mid-tempo bass, and as his first step, he releases his debut single, part of an upcoming EP, via Magic Magic. A hard, retro wave inspired tune, with downtempo raw beats and industrial techno sounds, Rene is a club weapon to drop in the middle of the night. The perfect blend between underground beat and hard rolling baseline makes Gastel’s Rene a unique track in the genre.
Gastel’s Rene and EOS EP
Industrial, Groovy, and hard-hitting is what comes to mind with Gastel’s first single Rene. This techno-influenced track starts with a simplistic intro accompanied by haunting fx which effortlessly turns to a heavy build-up. When the drop finally hits you’re instantly grooving to the heavy and intricate instrumentation, that will keep you going all the way to the second drop full of bumping bass and haunting vocal chops. This is the first single off of Gastel’s much-anticipated EOS EP, which will be dropping later in 2020.
