Lane 8 presents ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ with Arctic Lake

The record follows Lane 8 signature sound made of soft and emotional melodic lines perfectly mixed with relaxing and minimal beat.

American born DJ and producer Lane 8 returns with Don’t Let Me Go on his imprint This Never Happened together with Arctic Lake.

2019 will be surely remembered as the year of melodic techno and house music. With an increasing number of records released that follow this path, it’s really simple to fall into banality; this is not the case of Lane 8 and his This Never Happened. The label, as well as the boss himself, has kept the high-quality standards on every release and now, they are back, with another incredible tune.

Don’t Let Me Go follows Lane 8 signature sound made of soft and emotional melodic lines perfectly mixed with relaxing and minimal beat. On the track, an intimate and melancholy vocal guide the listener into a progression of arpeggios and melodic vibes. Don’t Let Me Go is another example of Lane 8’s mastery with this musical genre.

Kicking off this year with one of the most beautiful records of 2019, Visions, Lane 8 has continued his incredible melodic journey with a remix for the one and only Virtual Self (Porter Robinsons), as well as with an EP on Anjunadeep and a massive collab with Yotto. His last release, Sunday Song has accumulated more than half a million streams already. On January 10th, 2020, Lane 8 will drop his second album, that follows Little by Little released back in 2018.

Lane 8’s This Never Happened continues to set the standard for the melodic house music genre and, we can surely say it’s one of our favorite record labels of this year.
