With performances at Void Records club imprint No Mono throughout the entire 2019, Storgards makes a proper release comeback on the label with another long-awaited original EP, ‘Sahra’, created for the dance-floors around town.
The Swedish producer is back once again home on Void Records, but after the last exclusive remix of Kornél Kovács ‘Baltzar’, he really gets back to the dance-floors with the new ‘Sahra EP’. After his hectic summer schedule, Storgards has spent hundreds of hours underground in his studio working on new music, with pictures from the sunniest deserts far away in mind.
The new release holds two records, ‘Sahra’ and ‘Alfada’, in two different cuts, a shorter and a full version. ‘Sahra’ gets us on track, full of rhythms and groovy beats, mysterious sounds alongside the harmonic Storgards-style attacks. The lead track really takes you through the sandy deserts of house music.
Storgards’ ever-evolving journey finally gives us the long-awaited ‘Alfada’, a raw club favorite with a punchy sound, available for an exclusive preview on our Soundcloud. This immersive deep house track features the young Swede’s typical dark sound, made of few synths combined with an enthralling amalgam of unobtrusive bass and potent percussive elements.
The ‘Sahra EP’ is a firm change of direction when compared to his latest original, the Summer-inspired ‘Lilac EP’, whose bright melodic sounds are now soothed in
Storgards is a rare talent with an ability to create the most unique soundscapes and keeps showing us strength after strength. His debut EP ‘Mono no Aware’, was released on our own label Groove Cartel Records in 2018 and received warm reviews and support.
Don’t wait to listen to new Storgards music, and stream one of the two tracks down below. The rest of the organic sounds from the ‘Sahra EP’ will be available all over the World Wide Web on the 1st of November.
