Let me tell you about the inspired new house music collaboration between Ferreck Dawn and Mo Selleck. They have come together for an absolute gem of a tune called “Easy Baby.” For us, fresh collaborations like this always pique my interest.
This one brilliantly merges the best of both worlds – Ferreck’s masterful, sultry tech-house craft that he’s honed over years, combined with the youthful energy and fresh perspective of Mo Selleck, who’s part of the critically acclaimed Quarterhead collective.
For the veteran Ferreck, landing on Tomorrowland’s prestigious label is nothing new at this point. This marks his third massive release with them in 2023 alone after bangers like “I’ll Keep You High” and “Warrior.” But “Easy Baby” feels like the duo has leveled up and shown a new dimension to their artistry.
Mo reached out a few months ago with this great vocal. It was a live recording from a session but processed in a way that it sounded like an old soul sample. I loved it and we started working on it straight away. The result is a very cool, classy house track with a lot of emotion to it.
