Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and Magnificence rework Steve Angello’s Monday

Steve Angello, the head of SIZE Records and a member of the Swedish House Mafia, enlisted the help of Dutch producers to give his legendary single from 2009 a contemporary makeover in honor of the label’s 20th anniversary this year.

The remix by Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and Magnificence preserves the catchy bassline from the original while giving the timeless house track a funky, contemporary tribal flavor. The result is a catchy, upbeat song that is perfect for the summer.

Available today across all platforms is Monday (Sunnery James, Ryan Marciano, and Magnificence Remix).

We’ve always had a thing with Tomorrowland, because we are like-minded and we work for something that we love. Working together with the family of Tomorrowland, I feel like it’s meant to be. For us to work with their artists and musical platform, just put out great records, have fun together, perform and enjoy, make people smile – that’s what it’s all about! – Steve Angello

The exciting collaborative EP from Tomorrowland’s imprint and SIZE Records, which includes the 2023 rework of “Monday,” debuts just in time for Steve Angello’s eagerly anticipated special 20th-anniversary set, “Steve Angello presents SIZE XX,” which will take place on Tomorrowland’s Freedom stage on Sunday, July 30.
