A mysterious melodic techno duo that inflamed the world

Kasablanca is an accomplished melodic techno duo. They first gained a name for themselves in the summer of 2020 with their collaboration with Lane 8, ‘Run.’

Kasablanca followed up with their debut album ‘Human Learning,’ their Juno Award-nominated single ‘Afterglow,’ their ‘Immunity EP‘ on Anjunabeats, and a remix of Above & Beyond’s ‘Black Room Boy‘ as part of the ‘10 Years of Group Therapy‘ celebrations.

Their recent Anjunabeats EP, ‘Lucid Audio,’ has received over 3.5 million total worldwide plays to date. Stellar remixes of tracks from the EP quickly followed; Korolova’s take on ‘In Sequence‘ and Øostil’s rework of ‘Am I Dreaming?‘ were played on stages all over the world.

Kasablanca live sets are a mix of synth-driven melodic lines, nostalgia, and highly energetic beats

When you hear Kasablanca live, it takes on a whole other dimension. Their high-octane act, a cross between Justice, Queen, and Stephan Bodzin, balances the ambiance of a full-fledged rock concert and a superclub. They recently supported Above & Beyond at their sold-out Printworks London takeover. They also played at The Gorge for Group Therapy Weekender, complete with Prince-esque swagger and a large rig of analog synths on stage.

The duo finished their ‘Am I Dreaming?‘ tour earlier this year. It took them to eight sold-out venues across North America. They also played Ultra Miami, Coachella, and festival appearances in Brazil and India. They also returned to Red Rocks Amphitheater with Above & Beyond.

Kasablanca is keeping its momentum going in the run-up to the new year. With a 16-date tour that includes festivals, headline performances, and Anjunabeats label shows.
