Today, three-time Grammy-nominated, Australian, live electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL have announced a show at the idyllic Pacific Northwest venue, The Gorge Amphitheatre. This will be the band’s first headlining show at this legendary venue, and they’ll be joined once again by one of London’s most forward-thinking producers, Fred.
Located east of Seattle in the crest of the Columbia River, The Gorge Amphitheatre is known as one of North America’s most iconic places to enjoy live music. Since 1986, the venue has hosted legendary artists such as Radiohead, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, Tom Petty, and countless others.
The news follows a string of achievements for RÜFÜS DU SOL, including the release of their Surrender LP on Rose Avenue and Warner Records at the end of 2021. In 2021, their renowned live show reached new heights when they performed for 70,000 fans over three nights at the Los Angeles Banc of California stadium, and then for millions on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
RÜFÜS DU SOL have received their third Grammy nomination for their hit single ‘Alive,’ in the category of Best Dance/Electronic Recording, and will be performing at their own festival, Sundream Tulum, in the coming weeks. The four-day destination event, which will take place over two weekends in Quintana Roo, Mexico, will bring world-class music and wellness to Papaya Playa Project, one of Tulum’s most famous beach clubs and hotels.
The Gorge Amphitheatre’s pre-sale for the Live Nation-produced show on October 1st begins on Monday, February 28 at 10 a.m. PT. If you’d like to be notified when tickets become available, go to thegorge.rufusdusol.com.
