Marco Faraone drops ‘Dramatizer’ on Alan Fitzpatrick’s imprint

Dramatizer,” a jackin’ techno record from Marco Faraone, is the 95th release on Alan Fitzpatrick‘s We Are The Brave label.

Marco’s productions have graced some of the scene’s most respected labels; from Drumcode to Defected, Rekids, and of course his own much-respected UNCAGE imprint. The high-energy, peak-time slice of techno we would anticipate from the Italian producer appears on his We Are The Brave debut.

Dramatizer begins with a heavy kick drum and suspenseful synth stabs that are inspired by Detroit and open under a low-pass filleter. Fast-flowing hi-hats and punishing claps fill the track with explosive energy, while the rumbling bassline and anarchistic vocals captivate the dance floor.

About Marco Faraone

Tuscan native Faraone grew up surrounded by music; his grandpa was a folk singer and musician, and his father worked as a DJ for a local radio station in the 1980s.

As a result of his continuous residency at Florence’s illustrious Tenax club, Faraone soon advanced from “crafty up-and-comer” to one of modern techno’s most recognizable and revered figures.

Anyone familiar with his output – both as a DJ and as a producer and label owner – will be all too aware that his is a sound that’s practically impossible to pigeonhole. Some of the most prestigious labels in the scene have included Marco’s productions.

Marco Faraone, who is now permanently established in Ibiza, just released an album, a powerful EP on Rekids, and one upcoming EP on Defected. In addition to all of these recordings, Marco is about to release a new album that was inspired by Ian Urbina’s book “the lawless ocean.”
