W&W say Swedish House Mafia have a lot of new music
In their recent Rave Culture Radio 006, W&W stated: “Swedish House Mafia have a lot of new music”.
W&W aren’t the latest arrived in the dance music industry. They started in 2007 producing trance music and in the last 5 years, they ranked between #13 and #18 in the DJ Mag Top 100. Only in 2017, the duo returned to its root under the alias NWYR and started to produce trance once again.
The 26th of October, during the Amsterdam Dance Event, W&W started their new radio podcast. Rave Culture Radio, now at the episode 6th, it’s the successor of Mainstage Radio.
We actually talked to Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso last week about the Swedish House Mafia reunion and they said they’ve got a lot of new music coming.
Simply self-promotion or not? At the moment, we can’t know it. One thing is that, for sure, the trio is back in the studio working on something. In the past, Sebastian Ingrosso himself posted via Instagram Story short videos in the studio, rapidly deleted after a couple of hours.
Swedish House Mafia themselves stated that Stockholm’ show in May will feature a lot of new SHM music. During the tour announcement interview back last autumn, answering about how the new music will sound, the answered: “It will sound like Swedish House Mafia“.
There’s no doubt they’re cooking something but, we’ve to wait until May yet for something concrete.
