Canadian duo Leossa comes in hot with their second release on the label, building on 2021’s ‘Automatic Art / Macro Expressions‘ in style with a brilliant three-track EP. ‘Daytrip,’ ‘Elevated,’ and ‘One Of Those Feelings‘ are synth-focused productions with progressive and melodic house elements.
Kicking off with Daytrip, as the track name suggests the EP initializes its journey by day, where warmer but minimal plucked harmonies collide with romantic and melodic synths. The soft bassline wraps you all around creating a feeling of well-being and inner peace. In the second installment, Elevated, the beats get bigger but the main theme is focused on mysterious and yet dreamy accords. An exciting progression of sounds that brings the listener’s soul to elevate to a new level. Last but not least, we go deep and dark with One Of Those Feelings where airy and delicate piano melodies flow seamlessly on a soft and gentle vocal.
