Daft Punk split after 28 years with YouTube video ‘Epilogue’

Daft Punk’s official YouTube channel posts a new video after 5 years of hiatus. The video called ‘Epilogue’ is almost 8 minutes long and shows the two artists moving away from each other. The video ends with an explosion and the date 1993 – 2021.

According to Pitchfork, which has reached out to the duo’s longtime publicist Kathryn Frazier, the video marks the end of Daft Punk; she gave no reason for the breakup tho.

The video is an 8-minute extract from their 2006 film Electroma.

Last year came out the news that the duo would have scored Dario Argento’s Dark Glasses but it turned out to be fake news.
