Coachella 2024 lineup, when? If there’s one thing that the Coachella Music & Arts Festival does every year is to announce the lineup out of nowhere. No real teasing, no real official announcement day, just the lineup drop. It’s not news that Coachella keeps fans on the edge with the lineup announcement.
According to statistics based on the previous lineup and new information that surfaced this weekend, the Coachella 2024 lineup announcement is likely to happen on a Tuesday.
It is now confirmed from multiple sources that the Coachella 2024 lineup will be announced on the 16th of January.
But why Coachella hasn’t yet announced its 2024 lineup? It’s not clear but there’s a lot of speculation and plausible reasons.
The Coachella lineup is usually announced in January
If we go back in time, usually the Coachella lineup is released at the beginning of January. January the 2nd is usually the day. Not this year. From 2018 to 2020, the Coachella Festival announced the lineup on January, 2nd. Last year, instead, the Coachella 2023 lineup was announced on the 12th of January.
The Coachella 2024 lineup seems that it won’t be announced at the beginning of the year. In 2013, the lineup was announced on the 24th of January, three weeks after the usual period.
Last year, in 2023, Coachella has been quite a year regarding the lineup. With the headliners’ negotiations and Frank Ocean’s underwhelming performance, Coachella kept fans impatient and frustrated.
This is the case for the 2024 lineup as fans, especially on Reddit, aren’t in their best mood.
Good news seems to be ahead tho. The lineup tab on the Coachella website has been removed. This could hint that Coachella is updating the page and the 2024 lineup should be announced very soon.

According to internal sources, the lineup is now set and locked. Unfortunately, the lineup has not yet been illustrated to the perimeter staff.

Coachella will return at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California, in mid-April
Coachella 2024 will take place at the iconic Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California for two weekends. The first Coachella 2024 weekend is set for April 12-14, and the second weekend for 19-21, 2024. As usual, the 3-day music festival will run on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Advance tickets have been sold out. The general presale tickets have yet to be sold. Be ready for the official ticket sale, as well as for the 2024 lineup announcement.
Re-live last year’s performances: Skrillex, Fred Again.. and Four Tet joined Coachella 2023. Keinmusik also returned to the Empire Polo Fields.
Rumors about the 2024 lineup
PSSSSSS don’t tell anyone, but it seems Lana Del Ray could headline the Coachella 2024 lineup. Recently report seems to confirm that Tyler, The Creator will also be a part of the festival. In a recent article that appeared on Hits Daily Double, Doja Cat is also believed to be the third headliner. Other rumors suggest that Dua Lipa was in talks with the festival as well. Shakira was also supposed to be one of the headliners but, Coachella decided to pass on her, according again to Hits Daily Double. Talks with The Rolling Stones, Olivia Rodrigo, and Travis Scott seemed to take place.
