Musician Grimes has gone public with what seems her new boyfriend – none other than DJ/producer Matteo Milleri, aka Anyma, who recently divorced from Italian model Vittoria Ceretti.
Ceretti, 25, announced her divorce from Matteo Milleri (known professionally as Anyma) just last June expressing surprise over the split. The former couple had married in a seaside ceremony in Ibiza, Spain, though details of their relationship were kept relatively private.
However, Grimes seemingly confirmed her new romance with Milleri over the weekend by posting a romantic photo on Instagram, cozily kissing the DJ and referring to him as her “beauty and the beast.“
The twist? Grimes, 35, and Anyma have previously collaborated professionally. He appeared during her live debut of the album Genesys at the Tomorrowland festival in July 2023 to perform vocals on their co-written song “Welcome to the Opera.”
So it seems the working relationship has now blossomed into something more intimate, with the Canadian avant-garde pop artist moving on with Milleri fresh off his divorce from Ceretti after only a few years of marriage.
Fans were sent into a frenzy speculating over the new couple’s origins. “Oh I know he’s gonna produce some crazy shit for her” one exclaimed. While another added, “Grimes and Anyma is ah, unexpected but I can definitely see the vibe.“
Neither Grimes nor Anyma have officially confirmed their relationship status. But this Instagram post exchange seems to mark their reunion going public, to the shock of many.
Vittoria Ceretti has not yet addressed the new couple, maintaining her typical disciplined low profile.
The new romance marks Grimes’ first public relationship since her highly publicized split from billionaire Elon Musk, with whom she had three children.
Only time will tell if sparks will truly fly long-term for this new beauty and her beast.
