ATTLAS drops remix of Joachim Pastor’s ‘Be Someone’ on Armada
ATTLAS returns to Armada Music with another superb rework just over a year after showcasing his standout production abilities on remix duty for ARTY and Conrad Sewell’s “Kingdom.” This time, the Canadian producer tackled Joachim Pastor and EKE’s “Be Someone,” resulting in a track that piques the listener’s interest in the best possible way.
ATTLAS, as one might expect from an artist with such a resume, takes your breath away with this flawless rendition of Joachim Pastor’s “Be Someone.” This rework is exactly what hopes and dreams sound like, from the hypnotic beat and rhythm to the shimmering pads to the tantalizing melodies executed to perfection.
I love ATTLAS’ remix of ‘Be Someone’. He has truly transposed the emotion of the original track into his own recognizable touch and style, and I think that is the essence of a remix: making a completely different track with common ingredient. And this one is a success for sure. – Joachim Pastor
and new music today as well! back with @Armada and a remix for @JoachimPastor and the lush record "Be Someone". worked on this in some dark days, the process was a warm and welcome distraction and a reason to be colourful and optimistic
It’s an honor to work with the music of Joachim Pastor on the legendary Armada Music label. During this period of isolation and personal confusion, it’s a chance for me to lose myself in melody, emotion, energy and hope again – ATTLAS
ATTLAS (Jeff Hartford) has become one of dance music’s most well-known artists in the last five years. In 2015, the Canadian musician signed his first few records to Deadmau5’s Mau5trap imprint and has since been making waves in the electronic music world, captivating his adoring fan base with a variety of incredible records, two-hour-long DJ mixes bearing the mark of his Storyline series, and his second and most recent artist album, titled “Out Here With You,” which encompasses the shift in the music industry. Add in his delightful remixes for the likes of Deadmau5, Kaskade, Kidnap, Lane8, ARTY, and now Joachim Pastor, and it’s clear that ATTLAS’ music has a global appeal.
