"Out of an abundance of caution and in light of yesterday's announcements, following the guidelines of local, national and international authorities, Story and LIV will be temporarily pausing operations."

Iconic clubs in Miami, LIV and Story to pause operations and close their doors because of Coronavirus emergency.

With the Miami Music Week only a few days ahead, LIV and Story official announce that the two clubs will remain close until the new Covid-19 Coronavirus crisis will end. With a post on social media, the two clubs have stated that, after yesterday’s announcements, and following the Government guidelines to contain the crisis, the two clubs have decided that costumers’ health was more important than the planned events.

Story Miami would have hosted next week deadmau5, Fisher, and The Martinez Brothers meanwhile LIV has in its program Cedric Gervais, Alesso for an all-night-long performance, Kaskade, and The Chainsmoker.

Because of the continuous spreading of the new Covid-19 Coronavirus and the new limitation imposed by President Trump on the travels from Europe to the US, the two clubs have decided to shut down. Tickets already purchased for the upcoming events will be completely refunded.

With two of the biggest clubs in town closed, Ultra Music Festival and Winter Music Conference canceled, we wonder what will be the next move in Miami for the upcoming week.
