After 2018 full of releases, from ‘One Night’ to ‘Do It Tonight’, Cedric Gervais (interview) is back for the 2019 debut, ‘Good Things’. The French DJ and producer now based in Miami, this time has collaborated with U.K. duo Just Kiddin and emerging singer-songwriter Kyan.
From the club-ready original to the funky and soulful Disco Edit, this two-sided release on Delecta Records is meant to fill out dance floors like Black Friday Sales do retail stores.
Kicking off with a groovy-infected percussive rhythm filled by the wonderful Kyan vocal, ‘Good Things’ drops into an electrified synth driven by a super wide bassline. The heavy drop compensates the chill breakdown dominated by Kyan vocal giving to the track a unique touch. Keeping the main soul unaltered, the disco edit infuses a sort of Daf punk-style thanks to the vocoder processed vocal. The more euphoric and funky vibes on the drop will bring you back in time.
