Aussie producer and a serious one-to-watch Kormak returns to Defected’s techy imprint DFTD with another two-track delivery of house heat, following the massive ‘Love On The Line’. With his DFTD debut continuing to receive support from radio tastemakers around the world, it’s no surprise his second release on the label has all the indicators of a future weapon.
Title track ‘My Love For You’ opens the release with a strong start, where a thundering bassline and drums are paired with a gravelly vocal to create a real party-starter. ‘We Have Time’ sees Kormak collaborate with Sydney based Kamaliza (‘Zanzibar’, with Jeremy Olander) to produce another summer stomper with an unwavering groove.
Sure to become a mainstay in many Ibiza sets this season, ‘My Love For You’ proves once more Kormak’s undoubted skill to create banging Tech House heaters out of few simple elements, without falling into the cheesy and easy solutions that are characterizing the current Tech scene.
