Defected and Beatport have joined forces to create an unprecedented 24-hour live-stream marathon party for New Year’s Eve.
International dance institution Defected and Beatport, the world leader in music for DJs, producers, and their fans, have announced an epic five-continent, 24-hour marathon party to ring in the New Year.
The dance music behemoths will host livestreams from London, Sydney, Thailand, Johannesburg, and Las Vegas beginning at 11:30 a.m. GMT on Sunday, December 31, 2023, as part of Beatport’s new community-led initiative Music is Unstoppable.
The show will be soundtracked by a slew of house giants, including Armand Van Helden and Carl Cox, as well as Defected favorites Sam Divine, Ferreck Dawn, Arielle Free, Harry Romero, Afro-electronic diva Kitty Amor, and many more. The one-of-a-kind New Year’s Eve celebration will commemorate Defected’s 25th anniversary and Beatport’s 20th anniversary, honoring more than two decades at the epicenter of dance and music culture.
