Swedish House Mafia are ready to headline the closing day of the Coachella festival this year together with The Weeknd. In doing so, the trio accidentally posted and deleted a teaser video.

Planned for the weekends of April 15th-17th and 22nd-24th, Coachella is set to return after two years of stop because of the pandemic. The lineup is one of the biggest in its history with artists such as Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Flume, Fatboy Slim, and many others. Not only mainstream and pop music but Coachella is also known to bring the most eclectic electronic act in Indio California.

The previous edition has seen performances of RUFUS DU SOL, Tale Of Us, Steve Angello himself, and many others. This year, for the 2022 edition, the Swedish House Mafia will return to Coachella for what will go down in history. The trio will also perform together with their good friend and legendary artist The Weeknd.

To tease the fans, Swedish House Mafia had posted and then deleted, a video showcasing the trio working on the special performance. The video shows some short clips: it starts with white lasers moving with the music, then some sort of tape-recording. In the third clip, you can see the silhouette of what seems to be the main stage where the trio will perform. In the end, Steve Angello with Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso give indications while Leave The World behind is playing in the background.

Swedish House Mafia will headline Coachella Festival 2022 with The Weeknd. The festival, as well as the Swedish House Mafia show, will be live-streamed. You may also be interested in the setup they’re going to use.
