This year’s R² event has a carefully chosen lineup that shows how influential Zonneveld has been. It includes legendary acts that are rarely seen on event lineups.
Big names from around the world like Kobosil, Klangkuenstler, Paul Elstak, and Eli Brown are among the first acts to be revealed. Expect even more names as over fifty of the biggest names in dance music today are on the bill.
Reinier Zonneveld Presents: R² will have seven shows put on by well-known music venues, labels, and clubs that have been important to Reinier Zonneveld’s long and successful career. Some of the shows that will be there are STOOR, Unreal, Amnesia Ibiza’s Pyramid, Kompass Klub, and Filth on Acid.
AI in a live music festival
The festival will have an amazing lineup of artists for all tastes, and it will also be a big moment in the history of electronic music when R², a cutting-edge AI model based on Reinier Zonneveld’s huge discography and live sets from over a decade, makes its debut. Reinier Zonneveld will be the first artist to use his custom-made AI live music project, R², in a live electronic music set. This will be a one-of-a-kind show where a person and a computer play music back-to-back.
This amazing AI model was specially made to create tracks on its own during the live show, using loops, samples, and other live elements that work perfectly with Reinier’s improvised music on stage.
This project goes against the usual rules of the music business and adds a whole new layer to the art form. Reinier’s innovative method not only uses new technologies, but it also brings life back to live music by letting the artist and the AI model work together in a new and exciting way.

R² festival: when and where
Reinier Zonneveld Presents: R² will take over the Spaarnwoude on August 17. This will be the official launch of the game-changing R² technology and a full line-up of big names in electronic music.
The early bird ticket pre-registration starts on May 22 at 5:22 p.m. On May 24, tickets will be sold normally.
