Eli Brown is a name that has been on everyone’s lips over the past couple of years; with an extraordinary number of releases on dance music’s leading labels, he’s back with a two-track EP. Released on Mark Knight’s Toolroom last Friday, it contains ‘Always’ and ‘Need You’.
Filled with tech house vibes, both tunes feature darker sounding synths, moving a bit from Eli Brown’s usual style. Alongside the deep and rolling percussions, ‘Always’ and ‘Need You’ include Eli Brown’s techy drums and driving bass lines trademark.
‘Always’ marks the 3rd EP in 2 years on Toolroom for Eli Brown. He dropped both tracks back in Miami, for the Toolroom in Stereo Party, making people going crazy. The EP has been also played on BBC Radio 1 as well as on Toolroom Radio.
Mark Knight’s Toolroom has recently released a massive 70-track Ibiza compilation. From the most in-demand artists to up and coming producer, the compilation features tons of fresh music. One of them is Eli Brown’s Low End Theory. The record label will also host a Residency at Eden Ibiza.
Eli Brown is currently on tour; today he’s going to play at the closing of EDC and on the 25th he will be in Bristol and London.
