Axwell confirmed as a producer on Lady Gaga’s ‘Chromatica’ album

Lady Gaga confirmed Axwell, as well as BURNS, Rami Yacoub, Benjamin Rice, Tchami and more as producers of her upcoming album.

In an interview with famous PAPER Magazine, Lady Gaga has revealed that legendary producer Axwell has worked on the upcoming Chromatica album, among others.

It’s surely not a news that Axel Christofer Hedfors aka Axwell, 1/3 of the legendary trio Swedish House Mafia, worked on various projects besides his own music. With 25 years of music career, Axwell has become one of the most famous and recognized DJs and producers in the world; he also owns Axtone Records, an iconic label in the dance music scene. Now, the Swedish producer seems to step up the game again being part of the production team of one of the most legendary pop icons of this decade: Lady Gaga.

Rumors about a possible collaboration between the two have been surfaced back at the beginning of February when Axwell posted a cryptic tweet quoting #LG6 rapidly removed. As the hashtag has been and it’s still being used to talk about Lady Gaga’s 6th album, the first speculation of a possible remix involving Axwell appeared.

Now, thanks to an incredible interview by PAPER Magazine that we highly suggest checking out here, Lady Gaga confirmed Axwell, as well as BURNS, Rami Yacoub, Benjamin Rice, Tchami and more. He also described the production process as:

It was a very fluid process with no ego. Every single thing you hear on Chromatica was passed around and things would get removed, changed or altered. Everyone here heard it or touched it. It’s easy to go into a computer and find a cool loop, but the producers I work with don’t work this way. When they’re inspired, they embroider things. – Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga’s new album Chromatica is set to be released on the next 10th of April. Stupid Love, the first single extracted from the album is already available here.
