TEED continues to blur the lines between live electronic and club-oriented productions, with the latter defining the recently announced ‘A Dream I Have‘ tour. Fabric in London, Chicago’s Spybar, DC’s Flash, and Barcelona’s Razzmatazz are among the 22 stops on the tour. Damian’s signature event Get Lost at Miami Music Week, Red Rocks Amphitheater, the DoLab Stage at Coachella, and others are among the other stops. The tour comes amidst TEED’s Grammy nomination for his track ‘Heartbreak’ with Bonobo up for Best Dance/Electronic Recording this year. On April 2nd, the ‘A Dream I Have’ tour will kick off with a Grammy pre-party at Discopussy in Las Vegas, hosted by the infamous hedonistic LA institution A Club Called Rhonda.

The first time you may have heard ‘A Dream I Have,’ it was on the enticing ‘The Distance‘ EP. The EP was released in late 2021 on TEED’s own label, Nice Age, and received positive reviews, with the title track being named Spotify’s #1 electronic single of the year. The EP showcases TEED’s delicate melody writing, expert lyricism, and soothing voice, driving people crazy with his immaculate studio productions across a euphoric, breakbeat influenced four-track release.

Taking the upbeat, indie-disco sounds of the original, Damian’s ‘Re-Shape’ casts spikey 303 acid lead lines across a haunting drum groove and ear-catching bloops throughout this sonic voyage. These entrancing tones and rhythms provide an excellent new setting for Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs’ gentle vocal to float across incandescently with brilliant clarity.

Damian’s reshape continues a long-standing friendship between the two artists, dating back to the release of TEED’s 2013 collaboration ‘Lion, The Lion’ on Crosstown Rebels with UK favorite Eats Everything.

While the ‘A Dream I Have‘ club tour may be the last time TEED graces dance floors with his irresistible DJ sets, for the time being, the Grammy-nominated artist has more on the way in 2022.
