The brother duo Modern Tales, comprised of veteran producer Jonas Rathsman and singer Francis Novotny, release their new single, “Pretty Little Thing.”
The highly awaited debut album by the two, titled Stars Align, is scheduled to be released on RÜFÜS DU SOL Rose Avenue Records on June 30.

The track “Pretty Little Thing” is often regarded as one of the album’s most emotionally engaging tracks.
The impressive vocal range of Francis Novotny is given front-and-center attention here. He is backed by a spine-tingling piano melody and gripping synths that have echoes of Massive Attack and Trent Reznor.
The new single, which serves as the opening track for Stars Align, lays the groundwork for the remainder of the album, which features much more than just danceable indie-electronic numbers.

RÜFÜS DU SOL were so impressed with Modern Tales that as soon as they heard their soon-to-be-released album for the first time, they signed the band to their label and invited them to go on tour with them throughout Europe. Modern Tales swiftly gained the attention of RÜFÜS DU SOL.
After those shows, Modern Tales performed for two consecutive weekends at the Sundream Festival, which is a destination event hosted by RÜFÜS and taking place in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico over the course of three days.
