Released last year as the second single extracted from Ben Böhmer’s album Breathing, Ben’s and Monolink collaboration Black Hole has been the most appreciated record from the album, besides the album’s title track and its 1.1 M plays. Featuring the mystical Monolink’s vocal and Böhmer’s signature deep and melodic sound, Black Hole has rapidly conquered the fans of both artists.
After exactly three months from the release of the original, Black Hole receives two amazing remixes on Anjunadeep. Kicking off with Gui Boratto who has injected a stripped guitar melody on the tune with an infectious hook. Boratto’s colorful reimagining illustrates just why he’s previously remixed the likes of Moby, Massive Attack, and Way Out West. Surely a fresh revision of the original. On the other hand, label regular Martin Roth delivers a stellar remix representative of his ten-year tenure in the scene. With a more energetic and hypnotic melodic, Roth introduces a catchy rhythm that slowly flows into a deep and mystical breakdown. The minimal and clean beat drives the remix on an infinite crescendo wrapped around the iconic Monolink’s vocal.
Released this Friday, this incredible two-remix pack is the soundtrack to kick off your weekend. Don’t forget to check also Ben Böhmer’s full album Breathing as well as his incredible performances at Anjunadeep Open Air Prague, now available in 4K.
