AYOR, aka At Your Own Risk, debut on Axwell‘sAxtone Record with Aftermath EP, a 3-track EP. The mysterious trio has also taken over Axtone Approved today.
Not new to the big dance music panorama, AYOR has already some serious releases out there. Today, as it’s #NewMusicFriday, the trio is back with a 3-track EP. Aftermath is AYOR’s brand new bass-house EP on Axwell’s imprint. We are now used to hear this type of sound on the label and, it seems, we are going to hear a lot in the future too.
About AYOR Aftermath EP
Kicking off with the title track, AYOR rapidly set the base of this EPS signature sound; wide and energetic baseline, a powerful kick, raw electronic sounds and incredible use of percussions. Aftermath follows Magnificence sounds but with a more interesting eye on the bass house elements. With a plucked top melody on the breakdown, AYOR succeded to create a pause to recharge the batteries before the second explosive drop.
Second on AYOR Aftermath EP is Sinner, surely the hardest track of the three records. A catchy rap vocal, directly from the suburbs, follows the percussive buildup. The drop is one of the craziest, more powerful and cleaner we have heard in a while. A downtempo beat with a very minimal and clean kick and baseline, filled with glitched and raw sounds creating an underground club anthem.
Last but not least, Like That featuring Noto increase the bpm with a fresh, fast and catchy club hit. With an energetic breakdown that leaves no space to relax, Like That rapidly jumps into another impressive drop.
AYOR Aftermath EP is a banging production that will set the dancefloors on fire in the following months. With its continues changing of rhythm, moving from slower breakdowns to high energetic drops, the EP is another successful release, at least for its quality, on Axtone.
