Dutch DJ and producer Colyn has just unveiled his latest single Paroxysm, available completely for free for a limited time.
If you’re into melodic techno, you surely know Colyn. Having debuted in 2017 with Primal Instinct, he made himself known with the 4-track Resolve EP last year. The EP has been the debut of Colyn on Tale Of Us Afterlife Records, with the title track that has now more than 2.2 million streams. Present in the most important festivals’ lineups in the world, Colyn has recently delivered an amazing performance at sunset from the Grand Place Brussels. Packed with ID the two hours long set is a full journey through Colyn musical vision.
Now, as you may know, if we were living in normal times, the Amsterdam Dance Event would have been at its peak. Unfortunately, because the global pandemic, has reshaped the whole festival and conference bringing things virtual. “During this weird ADE period” as described by Colyn himself, he has decided to giveaway a brand new tune.
Paroxysm is a 7+ minute journey into the deepest and most mysterious techno vibes. With its hypnotic and minimal beat that evolves over time, Paroxysm features a very fresh and intimate baseline peaked with stripped synth, in typical Colyn’s signature sound. The mystic and enigmatic melodies unfold in a feeling of hope, especially in the second part.
