The hypnotic and intoxicating ‘Catharsis‘ and the gritty and bouncy ‘Echo‘ are the first two tracks on ‘The Pattern EP.’ The EP’s highlight is the captivating melodic house gem ‘Safe & Sound,’ which features a sweet minimal groove, gritty electronic effects, and a catchy drop – and was chosen as the Tomorrowland Winter campaign song. ‘FCK‘ and ‘Open Your Mind‘ are two completely different sounding and heavy-hitting tracks that bring energy, which is ideal as clubs and festivals around the world have begun to reopen. Finally, Curbi delivers another angelic club-ready weapon of epic proportions tailor-made for the dancefloor with the sexy, groovy, and tribal housey ‘Show.’
I think this EP is pretty different and I’m very happy with it – to grow for myself and develop as an artist and producer and to be comfortable with putting out something a little bit different.
