Steve Angello’s SIZE Records is ready to release a new banger bringing back the beloved duo Still Young (our interview) and their Animal Reaction, in collaboration with Steve Hartz and Jess Ball.
After a one year hiatus, Canadian mysterious duo Still Young is back on the legendary Steve Angello’s imprint with yet another impressive release. Animal Reaction is an energy-packed mainstage banger that features powerful beats and a glitched, downtempo synth main theme that gives to the tune a fresh touch.
A staple on Size Records, the Still Young duo is a great pairing with Steve Hartz, known for his retro and funky yet amazingly fresh sounds. The vocals are provided by the talented singer/songwriter Jess Ball. The three of them team up together and create a massive old school electro house banger.

Kicking off with Ball’s deep and dark vocal, the track rapidly sets the energy with a monumental and fast-evolving buildup. The mix of savage percussions and glitched top-synth makes Animal Reaction a true main room top-notch release. Slowly down on the breakdown and featuring jungle-inspired ambient sounds with mysterious and mystical lines, the record rapidly jumps on the second drop.
You’re no longer a hunter, but a prey of the savage animal reaction, which looks to tear your body with nothing but rhythm and a raw drop which will get your blood pumping and will turn you into the most primitive animal, directed by nothing but the rhythm.
